This comprehensive three day small group workshop is best suited for those who are looking to spend an action packed time in the field photographing, observing and learning all about the Onaqui wild horses.  I provide not only the most time in the field of any workshops offered by other vendors, but you have the benefit of a much smaller group size that other tour operators offer and more information and in depth knowledge of the herds, their patterns, behavior, lineage and much more by enjoying time with me, a local guide, who is out with the Onaqui several times a week year round documenting and photographing them.  To date I've spent well over 3,500 hours in the field over the past 6 years.

October is one of the  most beautiful months on the range with mild temperatures, varied scenes and skies and accessibility to reach both the North and South herds it's often a photographers paradise.  The Onaqui is known to have new foals born year round so keep an eye out for those late arrivals and enjoy the vibrant yellow scattered throughout the area from the blooms of Rabbit Brush which commonly cover the expansive grasses along the roadways and beyond.

The investment is $2100/participant and the workshop size is limited to 4 individuals per workshop to maximize the personalized nature of the experience for everyone and make it the most comfortable for the wild ones we are there to photograph as well.

Stools are provided so that guests can photograph either from a sitting or standing position and we will be taking meals out with us to enjoy a tasty late lunch in the field on the first and last day of the workshop.  Can't beat a relaxing meal with an exceptional view.
